On Tuesday, November 22, the Premio Mercurio ceremony was held. It is an initiative for companies and projects that have distinguished themselves in promoting the relationship between Germany and Italy.
For the Italian ambassador in Germany Armando Varricchio, the delivery of the Mercurio Prize is a precious opportunity to celebrate “the vitality and depth of economic relations between Italy and Germany” underlining how “The awarded companies are all highly creative, based on technology and sustainability, sectors on which the present and future competitiveness of our economic systems depends.
The jury is guided by seven criteria, including job creation, growth, sustainability and know-how transfer.
Among the special awards given during the evening for the categories such as “green”, “startup” and “cultural commitment”, BeDimensional won the award as a start-up of the year.
“For BeDimensional it is an important recognition of the work done so far in the field of technology transfer and a stimulus towards industrial growth based on innovation and sustainability” says Francesco Bonaccorso, co-founder and Scientific Director of the company.
