Abstract: SENSIBAT aimed at developing a sensing technology for Li-ion batteries, in order to measure in real time various parameters that are used to estimate the state of the battery, such as cell temperature, pressure, conductivity and impedance (separately for the anode, cathode and electrolyte). The new sensing technologies serve to develop if state estimator functions to estimate the where and when degradation and failure mechanisms occur.
