Introducing BeFab
BeFab, opened in Genoa in 2024, is the first industrial plant dedicated to large-scale production with atomic control of graphene and hexagonal boron nitride.
BeFab is the results of several years of commitment to engineer and industrialize a cutting edge, proprietary process of crystal exfoliation down to a few atoms.
Our current installed capacity is 3.5 tons/year of 2D crystals, with a scaling-up plan to 10x in the next two years.
We are now ready to follow to the ton-scale the increasing demand of our few-layers crystals.

Expanding Horizons in 2D Material Manufacturing
Our vision extends beyond Befab’s current production capabilities. BeDimensional is actively pursuing ambitious plans for expansion, including the development of a second manufacturing facility in Italy, set to become operational in 2027. This new plant will significantly enhance our production capacity, allowing us to achieve an annual output of 30 tons of graphene and 2D materials by 2028.
